Paper Recycling

Biffa are one of the country's leaders in paper collection and paper recycling. One of the key areas in our business is the collection of paper from business premises, schools and offices. We provide our customers with a full paper recycling service which includes the provision of specifically labelled bins which we will empty and deal with all aspects of the paper recycling process.

The benefits of paper recycling are extensive and companies need to accept their responsibility to the well being of the environment we live in. 90% of the world’s paper still comes from tree pulp with paper production being responsible for 45% of harvested wood. When all this pulp reaches the waste paper bin it accounts for 35% of municipal waste. Forest preservation is still lower than necessary to maintain our natural world, making paper recycling a more and more important issue.

As well as paper recycling we have a huge variety of recycling services available including cardboard, glass and cans, plastic, wood, construction waste and demolition waste. Any waste which we collect is handled and processed in the appropriate way, with as little damage to the environment as possible. For those companies with much smaller volumes of paper recycling we offer a bundle collection service where tape is provided for you to keep your flattened paper recycling neatly stored ready for collection.
